DEAR Sir,
It was very kind of the Carters to write such a wonderful tribute to both Norma and I.
Jill Carter was an outspoken and able member of the Committee and helped to organise the successful visit to Majorca of the late Michael Colvin.
She is a true Conservative and there are many like her on the island who are waiting with confidence for a big comeback for the Party in tomorrow's local elections.

For myself and Jill, I hope that Majorca's Conservatives including those who are not necessarily active members, will unite behind the present local committee who may be faced with an early General Election if matters go radically wrong for new Labour on Thursday.
