VOTING RIGHTS

l Dear Sir, REGARDING your views on voting for E.U. Residents (MDB 13.01.04) I totally agree with you. It's all very well that one can vote for the mayor (important when you live in a small village) and less so for a E.U. MP, but what about the Balearic Government and National Elections? In mid May 03, I wrote to our E.U. MP Mr. Carlos Ripoll, asking the same question, i.e. why can we not vote? (registered letter) To date he has not even had the courtesy to reply. So, look carefully at the list of candidates for the next E.U. MP, before you waste your vote! Yours sincerely
