By Jason Moore SLEEPLESS nights about savings disappearing and a complete meltdown of the financial system, thousands of job losses and the people who were ultimately responsible just say sorry. Well that´s alright then. Well, no it is not. The group of failed bankers who publicly apologised this week in Britain are allegedly responsible for a nightmare scenario which will see Britain in debt for many years to come and it could mean that the country never fully recovers and they just say sorry! I think the British public and savers across the world deserve to know the truth as to how two giant banks got into such a mess. The British government had little option but to bail them out because otherwise the whole banking system would have collapsed and Britain would effectively gone bust. There is one thing that the government must ensure that this never happens again. There must be more banking controls and the public must know that their money is safe at all times. And as regards bonuses, well it you are in charge of sinking ship I doubt that anyone would pay you your salary let alone a bonus. In the real world you get a bonus when you are successful not when you have cost the British tax-payer billions of pounds.
