FOR for the producers of a film about Princess Diana to be directed by Oliver Hirshbiegel whose last movie was Downfall about Adolf Hitler. With the working title of Caught in Flight it is one of three Diana film projects currently in their early stages. The filmic potential of her short life is obvious but as with the Iron Lady, the Margaret Thatcher film, one wonders why filmmakers need to invade the private lives of leading public figures for commercial advantage.
