Napolean always asked before he picked one of his generals; is he lucky?; Prime Minister David Cameron is certainly lucky to have Boris Johnson, who managed to ease Conservative local elections woes with a victory in London. Cameron can also learn from Boris; he has the same privilaged background as the Prime Minister but is never accused of being an upper-class Toff. Johnson bucked the national trend and ensured that he will take his place in history as the Mayor of London during its Olympic year. I sincerely doubt that he will ever become Prime Minister, though, his charms may appeal to Londoners but I am not sure that they would be well received in the rest of the country. Jason Moore
