Dear Sir,

I have seen some great April Fool hoaxes in newspapers over the years, but your headline on Wednesday (The Day of the Innocents) was a cracker and tops them all: BALEARICS SHOULD ESCAPE RECESSION.

Laughed, I nearly cried! If it is not an April Fool and is actually true, then I am going to invest all my money in breeding cuckoos to give to all the politicians to take with them to their new found land...
