Scottish nationalists are busy underlining their European credentials and their wish for Scotland to remain in the European Union. But their dream of being at the heart of Europe could end in a nightmare.

So, in other words, only people who supposedly publish their “real” names write sensible and thought provoking comments, the rest being misinformed, and uneducated Brexiteers.
My name is as real as they come. Though I was adopted so I had a different name for the first six months of my life. Twitter and You Tube don't come into it - I was not referring to social media in general.. UH is a fair point being the same company and in my opinion they too should publish full names. It would reduce some of the rubbish comments if people had to stand up for what they wish to publish.

Jason, you are starting to copy Boris( and many other politicians) with their skilful but somewhat deceitful use of the language. "Prime Minister Boris Johnson has pointed out that more people voted for Brexit in Scotland than for the Scottish nationalists. Whatever, Blackburn may say, there is support for Brexit in Scotland so the political landscape north of the border is not as clear as the Scottish nationalists might think. Like the United Kingdom as a whole, Scotland is divided" The vote in Scotland was Remain 62% Leave 38%. That is not division, that is a stonkin majority saying what they want. If only the Brexiteers had got somewhere near that result ( and I am a remainer) the country would not be in the divided mess it is now. Regarding independence, the last official position that I am aware of is that Spain would not block Scotland`s entry into Europe if the Scots decided by a LEGAL referendum. And there is the rub, Spain has no intention of letting the Catalans anywhere near a legal, under the constitution, referendum. Keep up the good work and naysayers be dammed. I am surprised you allow comments without a persons full name. Who are these BritB`s Mel’s Berts’s etc.?
