Palma's Book fair is celebrating 40 years. | Miquel Cañellas

Well, you never know, they may not all be in Catalan (or Spanish), and even if they are, there’s a chance to help with language learning.

But as much as this, if not more, the Palma Book Fair offers a splendid opportunity to do what the Born in Palma has long been for - simply strolling and enjoying the atmosphere. And this ambience will be added to by concerts, storytelling and children’s activities.
This year’s is the 40th fair and it runs until June 5.
