Charismatic violinist Ara Malikian says his latest tour, ‘Intruso’, represents a personal journey that started with the anguish of not fitting in anywhere before finally embracing the richness of a multicultural identity and a home in the world through music.

“In Lebanon they didn’t consider me Lebanese enough because I was of Armenian origin. Armenians didn’t consider me Armenian enough because I was born in Lebanon. When I settled in Europe they didn’t consider me European because I wasn’t born in Europe." He certainly has found himself now, his energetic performances selling out wherever he plays. It’s advisable, therefore, to book soon for his Palma concert in September.
