Ups and downs there have been, but Blue are a great survivor of the boyband era and can celebrate 25 years since Antony Costs and Duncan James decided to put a group together.

The year after they formed, they had the number one ‘Too Close’. To follow was, for example, ‘Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word’, another number one and with Elton John featured for good measure. There were solo careers from 2005 before their return for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2011. They came eleventh and were critical of “political voting”; with some justification given the jury voting.

Since then, there have been albums such as ‘Heart & Soul’ in 2022, and their touring will bring them to Magalluf for the Es Jardí series of concerts.
