The President and CEO of the Spanish airport authority Aena, Maurici Lucena, has expressed his confidence that Spanish airports will respond adequately to the influx of passengers, especially in the most tourist popular destinations such as Palma airport, this Easter and summer, when record numbers of movements and operations are expected to be broken again.

Shortly after this announcement several pigs were seen flying low over the airport.
AENA "Not aware of any complaints"?? I speak fluent castellano and (despite best efforts) still haven't worked out how to complain to AENA. So, God knows how a British tourist would be able to complain if they found queue lengths objectionable.
Unless the Baleares Government have been successful in getting Brussels to agree to scrapping the 90 Day Ruling. Then there will be long delays on arrival and departure. Along with the new charges etc., checking at the arrival points will be very slow.
