It houses the Municipal History Museum. The Gothic castle of circular ground plan was built by order of King Jaume II. The castle is located 3 km from the city of Palma.La construction of the castle began in 1300 by order of James II, King of Majorca as a royal
residence.

From April to September

Monday: Closed - Tuesday to Saturday: 10am to 7pm - Sundays and bank holidays: 10am. to 3pm.

From October to March

Monday: Closed - Tuesday to Saturday: 10am to 6pm - Sundays and bank holidays: 10am  to 3pm

The Castle is closed on December 25 and January 1.

Visiting hours can be modified due to concerts or official events organized by the Palma City Council.

From October to March, the Vehicle access to the Bellver Park is closed at 6.30pm and the park closes completely at 9pm.

Price

Ticket sales at the Visitors Reception Centre situated in the Parking area until 45' before the closing time. Tel. 971225900, Ext. 2280.

Last entrance to the castle: 45 minutes before the gates close.

General ticket is 4 euros

Reduced fee is 2 euros and includes: Pensioners, students, aged between 14 and 18, youth card, public institutions and Certified cultural groups

Recensered Palma Citizens are 2.50 euros
