Rounding out the top three is Waikīkī Beach in Hawaii. In fourth and fifth place are Nha Trang Beach in Vietnam and Maya Bay in Thailand. Nha Trang Beach has been tagged in 154,000 Instagram posts, while Maya Bay has 560,000 posts, solidifying their status as some of the most sought-after coastal destinations in the world. Maya Bay is also searched over 1 million times a year.
Nissi Beach in Cyprus ranks in eighth place. The beach stretches for 500 metres and the water is clean enough for the beach to have been awarded the blue flag designation. The European beach has been tagged in 250,000 Instagram posts and is searched over 1.6 million times a year.
