For the American cyclist Lance Armstrong, seven times winner of the Tour de France, who has finally been exposed for using the most sophisticated, professional and successful doping programme that sport has ever seen. The words are from a 200-page report by the United States Anti-Doping Agency compiled with the help of eleven members of Armstrong's team who broke the code of silence he imposed. Armstrong continues to protest his innocence but his career is now over and he will be stripped of all his Tour de France titles.
