I have viewed with interest the various opinions and proposals for winter tourism.There will only ever be a limited amount of winter tourism .The reason are many and complex . I.e. No holiday left. No money left. Other warmer destinations with just a little longer flights. The probable main reason. Is the fact that most Majorcan people “Love to see the tourist come” But also.” Love to see the tourist go.” If you have the privilege of getting to know the the people of Majorca ,Then you will be able to understand that the vast majority of them don't want winter tourism. This is the time that they reserve for their own way of life. Having got to know several families over the last 26 years. We have an apartment in Puerto Pollensa. I know that the fiestas held in the winter months are the best. Just ask the locals. They don't want any tourist spoiling their fun.
