THIS newspaper is entering a new, exciting era this weekend and from Saturday the Bulletin will go full colour and all pages have been redesigned by leading experts from the mainland. The relaunch of the newspaper comes just a few months before the Bulletin celebrates its 50th birthday.

A major milestone. I sincerely hope that you will find the new-look newspaper easier to read and it will certainly be much brighter. The new-look Bulletin will appear on the news-stands on Saturday with full coverage of the royal wedding including many of the parties which are taking place on the island. We actually brought the date of the redesign forward so that it would coincide with the big event. Saturday´s newspaper will include a 24 page special on the actual redesign plus our usual 40 page newspaper. Over the last few weeks I have been busy looking through the back copies of the newspaper and it is quite amazing how the Bulletin has changed. During the early years it was obviously a small black and white publication. Now, it's a full colour newspaper which aims to keep you informed of all events from Majorca to Australia. It is an exciting era which I hope you will all enjoy. The Bulletin at 50 will look better than ever.
