To the major banks which continue to pay their staff enormous bonuses despite the recession which has seen thousands of people left homeless. This week a senior manager at a major Spanish bank left his post but still had a pension pot of almost 80 million euros. An estimated 400'000 people in Spain have been forced out of their homes by the banks for failing to pay their mortgages but still banks spend enormous sums on their staff. A sad state of affairs.
