By Jason Moore WORKING on a newspaper you do become rather thick skinned but what happened at the Centro Canino on Friday night would have pierced the hard outer shell of any journalist. I must admit I was outraged and initially speechless. The person or people who attacked the Centro Canino and hanged the small dog are nothing more than savages who must be tracked down and punished severely. I left the Bulletin offices on Saturday night with a heavy heart. The photograph of the little dog on our front-page said it all. A defenceless animal, who had lost its owners, is savagely killed. And for what? What reason is there to do such a terrible thing to a defenceless animal? What drives people to commit such an act? Majorca is quite rightly outraged. Already a reward is being offered to help bring the person or people responsible to justice, the fund is growing with donations coming-in all the time. Yesterday, I received a large number of calls from people who feel the same way as I do. I am not a fan of using foul language in this newspaper but this is an exception. Let us all work to bring the bloody bastard responsible for this outrage to justice.
