Dear Sir,

We recently booked flights with Ryanair for winter after they announced their winter timetable from Manchester. We were very pleased to know that they were doing this route from Manchester plus East Midlands.

On checking the flight this week we noticed that fight had been cancelled. We didn’t have any confirmation of this or nobody had contacted us.

We rang the flight company only to be told that the flight we had booked had actually been cancelled. We were originally flying on the 21 November, but the company said that all flights for the winter have stopped.

The last flight will be on 5 November, so they transferred us on to that one. It’s a good job we are retired and flexible otherwise we wouldn’t be flying. So all residents, check your winter flights, you might not be going.

From a seasoned traveller.
