Booze cruises
Dear Sir,
The financial investment in Magalluf has already had a positive visual impact and the strides taken to improve its image are to be applauded. The reform of the Hotel Antilles, now the five-star Calvia Beach, is superb.

The steps taken to reduce antisocial behaviour have started to work, but why on earth has the daytime ‘booze cruise’ market not been regulated? Families on the beach and in hotels are treated to a tirade of foul and obscene language broadcast at excruciating volumes by the on board hosts who, within seconds of casting off, are encouraging excessive drinking and vulgar behaviour. The volume of the music is exasperating. These cruises promote the culture which Magalluf is trying to shed. If they are to continue a remedy should be found whereby the noise and profanities are prohibited adjacent tourist resorts.

Mood lunch
Dear Sir,
My sincere thanks to Mr Jason Moore and his team from the Bulletin for a superb day celebrating Her Majesty’s Birthday. A very special thank you to the management and staff at Mood Beach for the delicious food and drinks which were served.

It truly was a day to remember.
