Dear Sir,
I for one have nothing but support for the taxi drivers being on strike. l I have never had an easier drive to work without being pushed, undertaken or overtaken just to be cut off in ten yards.

So much less congestion on the roads. So much less stress from looking out for taxis to cut you up or change lane at any time. And not to be overcharged for a ten minute journey from the airport to Can Pastilla for over 12 euros, to be charged in excess of 120 euros to do a two hour trip (there and back again at warp speed) to Pollensa, Alcudia or Can Picafort.

More power to Uber for offering a better, cheaper and more responsive service than the ‘registered’ taxis.
