Sir,
When I was living in Pollenca in the mid-nineties, my wife and I were very much involved in Conservatives Abroad which was then a vibrant organisation run by Donald Gaffney (pictured above,) and his energetic wife, Norma.

On a recent visit to Palma I was saddened to learn that Donald had been shunted from any position in the Party and that both he and his wife were very much persona non grata.

It seems a poor reward for the two who have done so much to keep Conservatives Abroad together for so long and it reflects poorly on those who are in charge now that they count such loyalty and devotion to the cause to be of so little value.

Shame on them
