...for the news that the striking but now derelict GESA building on Palma's waterfront may be brought back into use with a roof restaurant and other facilities. Although the issue has become political the fact remains that the building is one of the few examples of modern architecture of any distinction in Palma and should be preserved for that reason alone. The building stands close to Palma Bay and should become a visual “signature” of modern Majorca for arriving cruise ships.
