The long wait for the bus in Majorca

Dear Sir, TWO years ago, Palma Nova and Magalluf each had its own bus service; now it is a combined service starting at Magalluf where there are more than enough people to fill the bus resulting in frustrated passengers/tourists, waiting - waiting waiting in Palma Nova. Calvia Council are aware of the problem/complaints but are powerless to act, since the bus service has been “islandised”. Perhaps this summer we could revert to a more “user friendly” service where “the tourist really is a friend.” THERE have been many so-called authorities quizzed on TV etc as to why the “bottlenose” is progressing upstream in the Thames. The obvious reason surely is that the word has got round that Wales will be short of a few “heavyweights” against England on Feb 4th. How else would it get to Twickenham to lend support - by bus?
