WE have just returned from the beautiful resort of Puerto Pollensa where we have been holidaying for the last ten years. This year we have been appalled by the amount of dog fouling on pavements. Although the resort is mainly clear of litter the dogs' mess seems to be everywhere you walk. Here in Scotland the dog owners have to pick up the mess or there is a £500 penalty, is there no such fine for owners in Majorca.

I, and I know many others, will be very interested to read your Mr Fleming's cock-eyed spin on the latest democratic condemnation of Gordon Brown and the Labour party. Gordon Brown (don't forget not democratically elected as Prime Minister) is like a dead man walking through MFI looking for a cabinet to screw together without an instruction sheet.
