FOR the Greek government's close-down of the country's ERT public service radio and TV station without any notice to its 2'600 staff and public. The European Broadcasting Union, which represents all public service broadcasters in Europe described the move as “unprecedented” and called for the resumption of services. Tomorrow, Greece's highest administrative court will hear an appeal by the staff of ERT, for a ruling that the government must reverse its arbitrary decision.
