DEAR SIR, RE: PUBLIC TRUST ON MP'S
YET again it seems British MP's fail to get the message regarding lack of trust by the voting public. I refer to the comment made by the newly-elected speaker, John Bercow, who upon being installed refereed to the Tories as “my former party”.

Mr Bercow would do well to remember that in 1997 he was elected “Tory Member for Buckingham” - a party he now disowns. Surely by this statement alone, he has in fact de-selected himself, and Buckingham voters therefore, have the right to demand a by-election as the present so-called Tory candidate is there under false promises and false pretences.

So much for cleaning up Parliament, and making it more transparent and representative.
