Further to your article in yesterday´s Bulletin concerning the impending closure of Centro Canino by the Palma authorities, I would just like to state how disgusted I am by this cavalier attitude of theirs. They seem to have no concern for the inevitable fate that will befall most of these animals should this action be taken I had thought that the Spanish attitude to dumb animals had been improving in recent years but apparently the Palma authorities are quite keen to prove me wrong. I have been coming to Majorca for many years, often to Palma , but now am thinking that I will have to consider going elsewhere in future, as I cannot support a country with such an apparent disregard for domestic animals.
