Dear Sir, I agree wholeheartedly with the comments expressed by Humphrey Carter on the residential lettings problem.
Having observed first hand the shops, cafes, restaurants, transport operators etc in our town bursting at the seams trying to keep up with the free spending tourists not in hotels, whether all-inclusive or not, one is prompted to suggest that this is the ‘quality tourism' that the Balearics desire.

It is interesting to note that the only provinces in Spain that restrict residential holiday lettings are here and the Canaries.....politicians in the pockets of the big hotel owners perhaps?
