To the police in Magalluf who are battling to bring the resort under control. This week it was reported that there has been a drop in the number of incidents since police patrols along the so-called Strip were increased. The Calvia council decided to introduce a permanent police presence in the infamous Calle Punta Ballena earlier this summer. This moves seems to have been successful. Calle Punta Ballena has been dubbed as one of the most dangerous streets in Spain, by Spanish media.
