I read your article about next year's cruise industry out of Palma and sadly, whilst there were two Thomson and two Island Cruises ships going out of Palma in 2008 there will only be one of each, the Island Escape and Thomson Destiny, in 2009 and both will be sailing under the Tui Travel flag.

The Island Star will be sailing the Caribbean next year and the Thomson Spirit will be sailing out of Newcastle and Harwich. That's sad and, furthermore, it is 3'129 passengers that will NOT be coming to Majorca every week in 2009 ... a total of around 75'000 less cruise passengers for the year, just from two ships.
