AND not for the first time, for Sepp Blatter, president of football's governing body FIFA, for his pathetic suggestion that racial insults on the field of play should be mended by a handshake and for his apology of an apology when he realised the offence he had caused. Any hope that Blatter will reform himself or resign in his last term of office is pointless; instead leading football nations should consult together to ensure that the future governance of FIFA is in wiser hands.
