FURTHER SMOKING RESTRICTIONS IN SPAIN

I am really annoyed that Spain are to impose further restrictions on the smoking ban, I travel to the canaries and Spain twice every year, mainly December and February, and as a smoker I enjoy the being able to smoke in bars, I am travelling to Gran Canaria this Saturday, the 4th December and Tenerife in February. I understand that these further smoking restrictions will come into place sometime in January, just in time for me to see how restrictive they are. If they get like Britain then I am afraid that I'm not putting up with it and my only option will be to travel to other countries like Egypt etc.

I know this may sound petty, but I do like freedom of choice, and with 40 – 50 pubs closing in Britain, and all the loss of Tax and unemployment associated with this, it will not do your struggling Country any good in these current times.

I love the Spanish people and their country and would miss going there. Many Thanks
