Dear Sir,

The recent anonymous letter stated that, for 6 months of the year, his next door neighbour's holiday rentals give him nightmares.
Can I point out that letting your holiday home to irresponsible party animals for six months is totally legal?

Hence the police and authorities can do nothing about it.
I am happy not to be anonymous, and know short term holiday lettings are so very different to what he is experiencing. Short term lettings, which attract up to 1 million tourists every year to our lovely island, should be permitted as a way of kick starting the Majorca economy for small businesses.

Tell your politicians to change the law and kick quangocrat's draft laws into the long grass. Majorca needs it to happen.
