To the Archbishop of Caterbury for admitting that, like most of us, he always fails to organise himself and his family for the Christmas period as he would like to. On BBC Radio 2's Pause for Thought he admitted to “the usual mess and last minute panic” -- but reminded his listeners that the first Christmas was also a day of “completely unplanned messy events” including a surprise pregnancy and a muddle over hotel accommodation. He added, “But I can wish you joy in the midst of the mess.”
