I enjoy reading your articles and once again you appear to have highlighted all pertinent issues...it is patently obvious that politicos past and present are a complete load of (too polite to write because I know that you would never publish it!!)....as these political scraps will undoubtedly endure it may be much better if the 'system' disregarded naming streets, areas etc after people and turn to a much more neutral system, e.g names of trees or flowers, or colours, etc!!!....in future years this may relieve many tensions and, more importantly, a waste of time and money....and ultimately, who really cares what anything is called - unless of course you are a politician or similar whose life's mission is to try and gain some sort of recognition at all cost!!
