I know a Mallorcan, who works for a major British satellite TV company, who heads home from London every summer and works from his apartment in Son Caliu. For three months he works in the sun with few problems and then heads back to England in September because his son has to return to school.

What better place to work than Mallorca during the summer months? OK, granted you are sitting in front of a computer and you know the sun is shining outside, but when you finish it is off to the beach. Full marks to the Spanish government for doing more to encourage Nomad workers. I sincerely hope that the Palma city council will revive their idea of promoting the Playa de Palma as a place for people to work from home.

Mallorca has always been a home from home for non-Spaniards now it will be a working home as well.
