THE Bulletin's stablemate Ultima Hora has just launched a new Minorca edition, and this is good news for our readers, as it will enable us to expand into the neighbouring island, bringing more news about local affairs and customs. The Bulletin already has a readership in the neighbouring island, where the British influence is very much to the fore, and the new initiative will enable us to provide a better service, continuing the expansion policy which has seen the recent launch of a website. The launch of the new Minorca edition today will be attended by Balearic chief minister Francesc Antich, and the British Vice Consul in Minorca, Debra Helyer. The move has been made possible thanks to an agreement signed between our publishing group, Grupo Serra, and the Minorcan company Medios Menorquines de Comunicaciones.
