Sky one hit on the search for The Villa

Talent Television from London is currently scouting in Majorca for a “romantic” finca where the second series of the Sky One hit series, The Villa, can be filmed this summer, and yesterday they may have found just the place nestling near Calvia. The Villa, which was last year shot in the Costa del Sol and has been nominated for Best Satellite Programme award at the Indie awards in March, is described as “an exciting series for Sky One which combines popular holiday destinations with a fascinating study in human relations.” There will be 12 shows in the series and each will feature a group of eight single people, aged between 18-35, who have been computer-matched to their ideal partner for a week's holiday. “The idea is to give them all a wonderful holiday and see how they get on at the same time.
