Two brothers, Juan and Gustavo Marques Serra, were in critical condition last night after a fight between the two at their Minorcan home ended with Gustavo being shot in the left leg before Juan shot himself in the chest with a double-barrel shotgun. Neighbours said yesterday that the relationship between the brothers, who share the same home, has deteriorated recently and last night Juan was in a critical condition in a Minorcan hospital where he was fighting for his life, according to doctors. Doctors at Son Dureta in Palma fear that they might have to amputate Gustavo's leg. Police found the two men early yesterday morning slumped in the bedroom they shared.
