A Group of protesters tied to deliver a petition backed by many signatures at the US Consular Agency yesterday. The petition is in favour of the release of Afro-American journalist Mumia Abu-Jamal and against the death penalty. A consular agency employee refused to stamp the copies and so the group refused to leave the premises. The National Police arrived and asked the group members for identification.
