A copy of the kidnap charge filed against former Beatle John Lennon and Yoko Ono with the Guardia Civil in Majorca in 1971, is to go up for auction on June 4 at the Reus Record Collectors Fair in Tarragona. According to the charge, Lennon and Ono were waiting for Kyoko Cox, the daughter Ono has with her previous husband Anthony Cox, to come out of school before taking her back to the Palma hotel where the two were staying. The charge was filed by the girl's father and Lennon, despite telling police that he intended to inform the girl's father, was held for a couple of hours in police custody before the child was returned to her father. The copy of the charge is to go up for auction along with the former Beatle's British police file.
