The Guardia Civil have intercepted a yacht called Boogie chartered in Palma with 1'710 kilos of hashish on board. The bust was made 70 miles south of the island of Formentera on Tuesday night. Operation Jaume was launched by the drugs squad last month when it was discovered that Majorca was being used by the gang to charter the yachts used for smuggling huge amounts of hashish in to Cataluña. Three Spaniards and a Moroccan were being held yesterday.
