The temperatures and humidity which have been building up over the past few days could reach their peak tomorrow, with Saturday expected to be the hottest day of the year. According to the Balearic Meteorological Office the high temperatures are normal and that it is usually around this time of year that the record temperatures for the year are recorded. In some parts of the island yesterday humidity reached 90 per cent and temperatures soared to 34.6ºC but tomorrow temperatures could reach near the 40ºC mark, the weatherman said.
