15 percent increase in Britons

Since January, 3.5 million Britons, 4.45 percent more than last year, have flown into Palma and last month, September, the number of British passengers using Palma airport rose by 15.75 percent, compared to a 2.40 percent increase in the number of Germans, which by the end of the year will have shown a fall in numbers by 0.79 percent. During last month, 2.4 million passengers were registered by the airport authority, representing an increase in traffic of 6.14 percent. Apart from April, when passenger figures rose by 11.29 percent, September has shown the biggest rise in traffic so far this year.
