Two episodes of a German television series are being filmed in Palma, and work has caused more than one headache for the local police. The series is called Denniger, Death of a Paparazzo, and it is directed by Daniel Helfer. Problems started when the crew started filming at the Edificio de Sa Riera and people who usually park in the area found that the traffic signs had been moved. Police were on hand to move the drivers on, which irritated more than one. But tempers rose even higher when the police started to impose fines. A spokesman for the film crew admitted bad organisation, but said that the police were only doing their job. The series tells the story of a paparazzo who starts blackmailing people after taking photographs showing them in compromising positions. Because of this, the photographer, played by German actor Bernhard Schir, is arrested by the police.
