Property in Port of Pollensa is most expensive in Balearics

The two most expensive areas to buy property in the Balearics are Ibiza town and the Port of Pollensa according to a report published by the Property Valuation organisation TINSA. Ibiza town is the most expensive location for new housing while used properties in the Port of Pollensa are the most expensive in the Balearics. According to TINSA, in Ibiza town new housing costs 210'000 pesetas per square metre while in the Port of Pollensa, property hunters can expect to be looking at around 209'700 pesetas per square metre.

But in the Port, new housing is not much cheaper, after Ibiza Town it is the most expensive property market in the Balearics with a square metre currently valued at 208'200 pesetas. Elsewhere in Majorca, new housing in Ses Salines is valued at 203'800 pesetas per square metre and in Calla Millor 189'400 pesetas per square metre.
