The EMT, the municipal bus service, has announced that it will introduce its new articulated buses on the Number 3 route, and it will change the airport bus back to its original route. Four of the new articulated buses will be incorporated into the Number 3 route tomorrow. This is the line which runs from Pont d'Inca to Palma and Cas Català. They will reinforce the 13 buses which already cover this route, one of the company's busiest. However, they will not be able to complete the run to Illetas because they are too long (18 metres) to negotiate the steep and narrow road which leads to the beach.
