Palma National Police yesterday quickly scotched reports that Saturday night's shooting of a 17-year-old in Palma is connected to the double shooting of two Chinese men in Son Banya earlier this year. However, last night it emerged that the only person to have been arrested to date in connection with the Son Banya hit is the uncle of the teenager who died on Monday. Yesterday police confirmed the cause of the 17-year-old's death was a gunshot wound to the head. Police say that they are continuing with their enquiries but they believe that the two shootings are unconnected.
