The members of Centre Stage productions have been rehearsing hard for their next production, the musical comedy La Oca de los Huevos de Oro, otherwise known as Mother Goose. The members of the company are of different languages, and for this production the dialogue will be in Spanish but all the songs will be in English. Rehearsals started in September, immediately after their last show. Producer Benito Amengual described this new venture as something of an experiment, but added that it was lots of fun. It is being staged by the youth branch and, including the chorus, there will be 41 people on stage. The children who belong to Centre Stage Productions will be putting a show of their own in May, and make a note in your diary for September, which is when Evita will be produced. The director of La Oca... is Robert Bateman, and Conway Jones is the musical director. The musical comedy will be performed at the Sala Mozart in Palma's Auditorium on April 5, 6, 7 and 8. Centre Stage productions is based at the Coleman Hall in Calle Nuñez de Balboa, Son Armadams.
